Leadership & Performance Partners were recently engaged by Peter Woods & Associates Chartered Accountants (PWACA) to facilitate Myer Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Assessments and Reports for a number of its employees.
Peter Woods & Associates are based at Parkes in Central West NSW and services Parkes and the surrounding areas including Peak Hill. It was great to meet and work with one of the business partners, Samantha Bennett to provide the MBTI assessments and reports, someone who is very passionate about the business and the people that work in it.
The MBTI is a a scientifically-validated psychometric assessment. This psychometric tool gives you insight into what behaviours make up your personality. By developing a clearer sense of self-awareness and awareness of others, you’re able to better frame decisions, reduce miscommunication, and understand personal needs more effectively. All good skill to have.
Peter Woods & Associates have been using MBTI for a number of years and the staff are well versed in the tool which:
- Measures your personality preferences in the MBTI framework
- Helps you to better understand yourself
- Provides career insight into what jobs you’ll find interesting
- Helping you understand behaviour and personality preferences
- Give you insight into communication habits
- Help you better understand other people
Leadership & Performance Partners organised for the MBTI assessment to be sent to each person and once completed the MBTI reports were generated. Mark Maguire from Leadership & Performance Partners, who is an accredited MBTI Practitioner, conducted one on one de-briefs with each person who had completed the assessment. These were conducted at Peter Woods & Associates office in Parkes during April.
