On Friday 27th September 2019 Leadership and Performance Partners held a Associated Non-Technical Skills (ANTS) Workshop in Mudgee.
There were attendees from the Ulan Surface Operations (Glencore) and Wilpinjong Open Cut Mine (Peabody) at the workshop.
The topics covered in the workshop were:
- Leadership
- Communication
- Teamwork
- Decision Making
- Situational Awareness.
The workshop was highly interactive with a number of role plays; individual and group activities; being held during the day.
We received some great feedback in relation to the training including:
- “I enjoyed the interactive training and group involvement”
- “There were good exercises and a great trainer”
- “I enjoyed learning how to provide feedback, particularly constructive feedback”
- “It was great that the training was hands on”
- “I learnt about tools and techniques I can take back to my team”
