360 Degree Feedback Leadership Reports

360 Degree Feedback Leadership Reports 2 March 2020

360 Degree Feedback is a process or system for collecting feedback.  It can also be known as a ‘multi-rater’ or ‘multi-source’ and can be referred to as a feedback survey or assessment.

Using a 360 Degree Feedback survey is an effective way to gather feedback on a person from the people that work around them.  Traditionally feedback at work is provided by a manager.  This process allows people to get a holistic view of their strengths and weaknesses from the people they interact with in all areas of their work.  The people involved typically include a manager, staff (or direct reports), peers, stakeholders and a self-assessment completed by the employee.

Leadership & Performance Partners are able to facilitate the 360 Degree Feedback Leadership process from which a report is generated. The 360 Degree Feedback Leadership Report provides a wide range of data identifying areas of strength and areas which the individual should work on to improve their Leadership skills.  The reports provide feedback against 10 Key Areas:

  • Commercial Acumen
  • Communication
  • Developing Others
  • Leadership
  • Leading Change
  • People Focus
  • Personal Effectiveness
  • Planning & Organising
  • Results Focus
  • Teamwork

It is essential for the person participating in the 360 process to fully understand and engage with the results they have received and the best way to do this is with a facilitator.  Leadership & Performance Partners are experienced facilitators and will schedule a 60-90 minute session to discuss the report.

During the session the following will be discussed:

  • Understanding what the feedback means – providing clarity on the message the raters are delivering.
  • Guidance on what to do with the feedback – helping to leverage strengths and understand the gaps in performance and ways to improve them.
  • An overview of the key outcomes from their debrief
  • Resources to help improve on the areas outlined in the debrief

It is suggested that the participant meets with their manager following the debrief session to take them through the feedback, outcomes and agree on their proposed action plan together.

If your organisation believes it may benefit from using the 360 Degree Full Circle Leadership Report contact Leadership & Performance Partners and we will discuss your requirements and the process with you.
